What is meant by Janistyle's staging and home presentation services?

Simply put - staging and home presentation is our way of artistically and completely ensuring that your home looks and shows its best in preparation for sale.  At Janistyle, our staging and home enhancement "package" includes a full array of offerings including interior and exterior evaluation, economical "fix-up" recommendations, color and design coordination, vignette design and set-up, furniture arranging and editing, custom botanical creations, and ongoing property review and maintenance.

So, aren't you  just another one of those "stagers" I hear and read about ? 

At Janistyle, we do staging, and we are very good at it . . . but we also do more.  We partner with you for the sale of your property.  With a solutions approach and a knowledge of real estate, we don't just fill up your home in textbook fashion with furniture and props, we are skilled in the artistry of key placement, colors, and accessories.  Furthermore, we use a "wide-angle view" to help you strategically and economically look at all of the alternatives in preparing your property for sale.  BOTTOM LINE:  We know how to make property sell!

Why can’t I do it myself?

You can . . . but why should you?  Your time is valuable, and selling property is already a major endeavor.  Besides, we are skilled and experienced in the art of home presentation, helping it to look its best.  We have a talented staff that is skilled in home presentation, and passionately committed to customer service.  In addition, we have an extensive inventory of furniture and accessories readily available.

Why should I spend the money now? . . . won't it sell anyway?

Sure, it will eventually sell . . . but the important questions that you should also ask are "when" and "for how much".  Real estate is a huge investment, and the cost of selling property has many hidden components (such as the time value of money, actual realized sale price, and the many other inconveniences/carrying costs of having property on the market).  Your property is competing with every other home on the market, and it is measured accordingly.  Can you really afford not to have it show its best?

Do you provide furniture? . . . What if I already have furniture? . . .  Do I  have to clear it out?

It depends on the circumstances and the property itself.  Our objective is to have your home show its best: therefore, a solution is designed that is unique to your property.  We can provide furniture and accessories, however, existing furniture can often be incorporated into a Janistyle-designed presentation, with key accents and accessories added. When using existing furniture, it may be necessary to “edit” certain items.

Does Janistyle work on just residences for sale ?

Absolutely not. At Janistyle, our specialty is home enhancement any home or garden. In addition to sale property, we work with existing residences, too. To update, remodel, or just to explore the possibilities, we are available for your home and garden needs.
